At this point, the fact that there’s now a pop star champion in the League of Legends roster should come as little surprise to fans, what with the whole K/DA thing and the fact that the character has already been on Twitter a fair bit. Be that as it may, we can now officially confirm that Seraphine the Starry-Eyed Songstress is officially arriving to the MOBA.
Seraphine’s passive ability lets her cast an echo of a basic ability every third cast as well as grants her notes whenever she uses basic abilities near allies, which give her basic attacks more attack range and additional magic damage while consuming each note. The rest of her kit includes abilities that can either shield allies or stun and charm foes while also dealing magic damage.
Not only will players get to play the starlet in-game, but they will also get to purchase an Ultimate skin for her that unlocks a series of missions that tell the story of her rise from bedroom dreamer to K/DA collaborator. Purchase of the skin also comes with two icons, an emote, and a border that can be earned as a part of the narrative quest line.
Seraphine will arrive to LoL with patch 10.22. Those who are eager to learn more about her can check out her abilities rundown, her bio, and some developer insights regarding her creation.
