It’s been a while since this one came across our desk, so allow us a moment to refresh everyone’s memory: Blade and Soul: Revolution, the mobile MMO being released by Netmarble that was first revealed in November 2017 and promised to stay true to the PC game, has been slowly rolling out details over the past few years including a Korean release date in 2018, some pre-registration for the SEA version last March, and a 90-minute peek at gameplay from the Japanese version last April.

This leads us to today’s announcement from Netmarble, which has officially confirmed that Blade and Soul: Revolution will be making a global release sometime this year as a free-to-play title on iOS and Android.

The mobile title promises once more to stay true to the original game while also offering large-scale content like faction battles and an active combat system, all powered by Unreal Engine 4 visuals.

The game has opened up a new official website along with another teaser trailer, while the video’s blurb announces that pre-registration will be available starting on Thursday, January 28th. The official site also plans to showcase first looks at the story, artwork, visuals, and key features of the game. For now, there’s the aforementioned teaser with Jinsoyun looking all menacing and stuff below.
