Circuits and Shields is an indie ‘modern gamers MOBA’ heading to Kickstarter

Circuits and Shields came across our desk this weekend: It’s an in-development MOBA from novice developer Koza Games, with an elevator pitch promising a “modern gamers MOBA” with “no gimmicks; just smarter design and superior gameplay” that combines “the knowledge gained from over a decade of MOBA design and improving it in every aspect.”

Circuits and Shields, developed by Koza Games, is a new take on the MOBA genre where you’ll choose from a colorful cast of champions and battle it out in a variety of unique arenas where no game is like the last,” the team said in its press release. “The game features intense 5v5 team combat and is easy to play but difficult to master!”

While there’s not a whole lot on the official website (and titles like “Two new videos to prove we still exist!” are a little worrisome), most of the communication from the team is on Facebook, where there’s another video on Circuitball as well as a champions showcase. A Kickstarter campaign was apparently intended to launch last year but has been pushed to “the coming months.” We’re including all the new videos below.
