There’s an update due to arrive to Warframe on all platforms this coming Thursday, November 11th, and while it’s not bringing a whole lot of new things in terms of content, it is gong to be putting down a whole mess of quality-of-life updates that should help new and veteran players alike.
For the newbies, the update will add a Tenno Guide system that will lead new players to additional quests and story arcs once they’ve completed Vor’s Prize. This guide can be toggled on and off at will.
New players can also benefit from a wide variety of cost reductions for various activities and features, like a reduction in Railjack part crafting times from one hour to one minute, reduced crafting costs for Amp parts and reduced standing cost for purchasing parts, lowered standing costs of blueprints for refined Ores and Gemsand in the Plains of Eidolon, and a better chance at building Necramechs thanks to a 50% increase in Mech part drops and a halving of most of the mining and fishing part costs for crafting the Voidrig.
Meanwhile, veteran players will enjoy a Forma change that removes the need to unlock Forma abilities when a Forma is used, letting Mastery Rank impact how much players have unlocked by default when a Forma is used.
Finally, all players are going to see dojo and decoration changes like a basic and advanced mode for decorating, the ability to scale all decorations, the addition of an arrival gate to determine where players spawn when entering their dojo, and remapped controller inputs. Speaking of player creativity, TennoGen Round 21 is on the horizon, set to arrive in early 2022.
