Albion Online’s big fall update is finally here: Lands Awakened is officially live.
As we’ve been chronicling, Lands Awakened is a sweeping overhaul of the world’s five core biomes, which replots map layouts and enhances the zones to be both prettier and more diverse. There’s also a brand-new weapon line, its first since launch – the melee War Gloves – along with new leveling tiers for existing combat skill lines, plus a fame rebalance, new headquarters hideouts for guilds, tweaks for guild seasons, a new loadout system, new music, and even touch-ups to the farming system… it’s kind of a lot.
“This update brings a new era of open-world gameplay to Albion with reworked dungeons, mobs, and treasure sites, new open-world PvP objectives for groups of all sizes, hugely improved visuals and layouts for all five biomes, War Gloves, reworked Guild Seasons, numerous quality-of-life improvements, and much more, Sandbox Interactive says.
Don’t panic if your toon isn’t where you last logged out; SBI noted yesterday that everyone’s being ported to map entrances to make way for the layout changes. Have fun folks!
