If the biggest thing that kept you away from Elyon was the lack of an ability to arrow things in the face, the game’s most recent patch will no doubt be enough to bring you back to the game. At the same time, it’s possible that your lack of interest in the game had nothing to do with archery or the lack thereof, in which case the new patch is not really going to make your mood change much about the game. Which raises an interesting question: What sort of update would make you go back to a lapsed MMO?
Sometimes it’s as simple as just reverting a particular change you dislike. Other times it’s more of a matter of consistent design issues, and a patch that addresses those problems could get you back. Heck, sometimes nothing would draw you back into the game, and other times it’s not something that one patch likely would do. But what would at least theoretically bring you around?
