Is March 14th too late for a 2022 roadmap? Albion Online’s Sandbox Interactive says no, as SBI’s Robin Henkys takes to the comfy chair to dish on what players can expect for the back three-quarters of the year.
“In 2022, the goal is to find a good mix of new content, updating existing systems, and improving accessibility for new players,” SBI says. That means a “complete overhaul of existing weapon lines” – visuals, audios, effects, and spells – starting with magic staffs; better layouts, spawns, and visuals for castles and castle outposts; and new Roads of Avalon content intended to benefit solo players.
Players can also look forward to more recurring events, a reworked guild finder, an effort to make “high-level gameplay more accessible,” Crystal League overhauls, trophies from PvP victims, and improved gathering gear.
“You can see we have a large number of improvements to Albion Online in the works,” Henkys concludes. “And of course, this isn’t all we’re working,” he teases, promising more details on the way.
