The Daily Grind: Have you ever organized and run an MMO player event?

Kitty!

I seem to recall learning through our Daily Grind conversations that quite a few of you are or have been guild officers and leaders over the years. And I’m sure if we have that many leaders reading MassivelyOP, then a sizable chunk of you have organized and run some sort of player event.

Back in my officer days, when I wore a spiffy uniform and strode about with a swagger on the battlefield, I was known to throw together a scavenger hunt or two in World of Warcraft and LOTRO. Those were always fun because we’d deny the use of an auction house and have to scatter all across the game world to find as many list items as possible in the span of an hour.

What about you? Any player events as part of your CV or resume?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
