Just about every MMORPG inserts taverns, bars, and cantinas for immersion and realism in the setting, and you’ll find alcohol drinks in most online games too. (Sometimes drugs, as well.) But you don’t often see people using them, outside of the rare roleplaying scene.
Which is kinda weird to me because I remember how people in older MMOs used to do it for fun. Maybe we were all just a lot more bored back then, but I remember everyone would drink up in Classic EverQuest and then laugh and laugh as the world spun.
Which MMORPG should we playing to get rip-roaring drunk in-game? And since you’re going to do it anyway, feel free to tell us the best MMOs for playing while intoxicated with your substances of choice, too.
