Final Fantasy XIV fans already know that the world of Etheirys and the Blunderdome of Fall Guys will be coming together in October 31st’s Patch 6.51, but now Creative Business Unit III has offered up additional dates and details on a special site for the collab to inform players who are eager to run the upcoming obstacle courses.

The collaboration itself will be online from October 31st to December 31st provided players meet a couple of prerequisites and complete a related quest that introduces the affair. After that, they can join in Blunderville shows and earn themselves a Gold Saucer Fame (MGF) currency.

MGF can then be spent on a variety of Fall Guys-themed goodies including cosmetics, pets, an emote, housing items, and a plush and colorful rhino mount from the battle royale title, as well as other consumables like aetheryte tickets and dyes. Once the event is done, the obstacle courses will remain in FFXIV but open only during special events at irregular intervals. The plush and punishing foot races and all of the rewards can be seen on the event site.

Speaking of special sites, the current landing page for the Growing Light series of patches has gotten a couple of other updates that were first shared during London Fanfest, including images from the next variant and criterion dungeons, the collaboration with Final Fantasy XVI, and a couple of updated previews for the next set of Splendorous Tools for crafters and gatherers.
