Is World of Warcraft turning into a cable package with so many different channels that it’s impossible to consume it all? It sure seems like it these days. By the end of this month, there will be five different versions from which to enjoy — at least, by my count.
Let’s see: There’s retail World of Warcraft, currently in the Dragonflight expansion and heading into The War Within. Then there’s Wrath Classic servers that are heading for Cataclysm. You’ve got your plain Classic Era servers, your Hardcore Classic realms, and — coming next week! — Season of Discovery servers.
