Albion Online recaps 2023 and looks ahead to January 8’s Crystal Raiders patch

It’s been a jam-packed year of updates for Albion Online, which is being laid out before fans in Sandbox Interactive’s customary year in review address. The studio looks back at the various major patches made to the PvP gankbox, including the opening of the Albion East server, the springtime event, Knightfall, and Wild Blood.

Of course, there is a brief nod to what’s coming in 2024, which once again emphasizes the January 8th Crystal Raiders patch and all of its guild vs. guild warfare gubbins. One of those features was given a specific spotlight on Twitter, which shows off how energy is contained, changed into season points, and potentially stolen during a guild raid. The year-end post also nods back to its updated seasonal content cadence.

In the meanwhile, players are still able to enjoy a bit of holiday-themed violence as a Santa costumed boss is available to hunt in T4 through T8 dungeons between now and January 8th for players on our half of the globe.
