If you’re a fan of Northern Forge Studios’ twin mobile games Orna: The GPS RPG or its more recently released (but still tangential in terms of updates) Hero of Aethric, then the end of 2023 was a very good to you because both titles got some chunky new updates just ahead of the holidays.

Both mobile titles got several new features including four new monuments that spring up the game world of Orna and in a T5 region in Aethric, multiplayer-focused deep dungeons that offer casual battling and mining, and a new Seers Guild passive guild that lets players trade in proofs of remembrance for materials, consumables, and sprite packs. The patch also gave both titles a variety of overall updates and fixes.

Northern Forge is also promising additional quality-of-life features heading into the new year, including an in-game list of tutorials and instructions to help players learn both titles more easily. The patch notes for both mobile MMOs offer up all of the salient details.
