Joining all of the other MMO roadmaps appearing this month is Nexon’s MapleStory, which delivered a preview of its first two updates for Q1 2024.
The first patch should arrive in early February and focus on reorganizing the worlds (servers) with different names, ruleset groupings, and a different server selection screen. It’ll also bring back the Burning World Leap, Spiegelette’s Strawberry Farm, and an “exciting new collaboration” with another property.
Following that is a mid-March update that promises to revamp professions and the character UI, make improvements to monster life, toss in a picnic event, and add on to the growing lore of the game world.
Nexon also announced that it’s continuing to work on an overhaul of the Beast Tamer for May, which will take the form of a new class called Forest Child Lynn: “As the successor to Beast Tamer, Lynn will be able to fight battles alongside her powerful guardians and support their party members with a variety of abilities that utilize the power of the forest.”
