Unless you’ve been playing World of Warcraft fairly faithfully during the Dragonflight expansion, you’re probably buried in content and objectives if you’ve tried to come back in the past year or so. There’s just so much stuff to handle that it can be overwhelming, including campaigns, reputation grinds, flying unlocks, leveling, superblooms, time whatsits, and all the rest.
So I would conceive of a real possibility that some former WoW players with an eye to return are holding off until the big expansion reset button is hit (or at least the catch-up events and the pre-patch). That’s kind of how I’m feeling these days, to be honest.
