Who wants free digital dinosaurs? Or if you’re a digital dinosaur, who wants free digital humans to snack on? Either way, the dino survival sandbox ARK: Survival Ascended is hosting a free weekend from today until 1:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, April 8th, for both Steam and PlayStation 5 players.
The promotion is hot on the heels of the release of the Scorched Earth map, which will naturally be included with the free play promotion. The game is also offering up in-game costumes based on the recently released animated series, with a total of 20 different outfits planned to drop every Tuesday until April 11th.
This free play promotion is available specifically for Steam and PS5 players, as Xbox Game Pass subscribers can already access the game for free as part of the service, so if you’re among those who fall into those columns, there’s free dinos awaiting. They’re probably not hungry.
