It still feels like Q3 2024 — and with it, Ashes of Creation’s Alpha Two test — is still a long way off, but Intrepid Studios produced something to make the wait a little more bearable: a new 30-minute video previewing some of the latest additions to the MMO’s build.
The big centerpiece of this video is the game’s vastly improved nighttime lighting and skybox, which is as gorgeous and twinkly as you could want — and it rotates with the planet as it moves underneath the player. The preview also touched on more additions to Ashes of Creation’s magic system, which includes the new wand that combos in a unique twist compared to other MMOs.
