RuneScape improves Rellekka visuals, Old School RuneScape discusses Varlamore’s upcoming group boss

Just because the region of Rellekka in RuneScape is described as a cold and harsh land doesn’t mean it shouldn’t get a lick of visual paint. That’s just what Jagex has done in this week’s patch as the studio continues its visual upgrade process with some new graphical improvements to the Rellekka zone; expect shinier water, prettier trees, snowier snow, and some added drama to the zone’s iconic lighthouse.

On top of the prettyfication of Rellekka, the latest patch has made some visual and usability updates to the in-game calendar, made several community hitlist updates, tweaked random event spawns to prevent them from blocking, and applies a host of other targeted fixes and tweaks.

Meanwhile in Old School RuneScape, the devs are talking about Varlamore Part II’s upcoming group boss, the Hueycoatl. The post offers a general overlook of the boss’ attack patterns and various rewards, then opens up a survey to gauge player interest in the addition.

As for this week’s OSRS patch, that adds several skill rebalance updates and applies an assortment of changes to the Mage training arena as requested by players voting in Poll 81.
