​Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): My pup’s having a bit of a party this weekend with my gamer group. If she’s able to be cool, I’ll get to play some Mario Kart or Mario Party at the least, maybe some Pico Pico Park… we’ll see, but certainly some console stuff! Sunday’s Community Day and I’ll see if pup will be able to walk calmly for that or if I’ll just have to auto-catch the event away.
For headaches, probably lack of sleep. I’m fortunate enough not to get headaches often, even from allergies. That being said, my allergies have been mildly triggering more recently so that’s kind of the trade off, bleh.

I’m assuming “caffeine withdrawal” doesn’t count, surely, so… super strong white floral perfumes do me in every single time. Also lemongrass. Going a day forgetting to eat. Staring at a computer screen without break. Man, humaning is hard.
Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): I admit that the new update to No Man’s Sky has piqued my interest in that game, so I’m probably going to take a sniff around in there. I’m also looking to see what Wayfinder has done recently, as well as continue feeding my resurgent interest in City of Heroes and continue the usual playtime activities in Final Fantasy XIV.
I wouldn’t call it reliable as clockwork since it’s dependent on user error, but if I have a night where the mask of my BiPAP machine isn’t seated on my face correctly, I wake up with a massive, throbbing headache, which is always the best part of waking up, let me tell you.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Dude, FFXIV’s expansion hasn’t been out a whole month, of course I’m still knee-deep in it. I was having an interesting discussion the other day about how I might actually like Dawntrail more than I like Endwalker as a whole expansion; the story is a bit lopsided, there are some sloppy bits, but the parts that work really work. And as a portion of a world, it feels more cohesive. I’m not sure! I guess I’ll have to kick some sand in Shaaloani while I think about it.
Flying always gives me a headache. I don’t know why. I used to love flying, but the past few years it has gotten worse… and these days every plane ride involves a headache. Unpleasant!
Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I didn’t have much time to play this past weekend so I haven’t finished the seasonal story in Harry Potter Magic Awakened. So I really need to do that. I’m also slowly making my way through the latest Prince of Persia game. It’s basically just a metroidvania and I’m loving that. I probably shouldn’t have put it on Immortal mode from the jump, but ain’t nobody got time to play games multiple times and I wanted the challenge.
Bonus: My kid gets in a mental space where they begin to get angry about something and they just fixate on it until it’s a whole thing. It’s very difficult and it immediately gets my head throbbing.
Tyler Edwards (blog): Still playing the Saints Row reboot. It is quite buggy, but otherwise I’m finding it to be surprisingly enjoyable.
Bonus question: I almost never get headaches. Until I hit my thirties I could have counted on one hand how many I’d had in my entire life. I get them more often now, but still only rarely. When it does happen it’s usually because I have the flu or am extremely sleep deprived. Or both.
