RuneScape founder’s MMO Brighter Shores hints at detective profession en route to Q3 launch

It’s been a couple months since we last checked in with Brighter Shores, the RuneScape-inspired MMO by Andrew Gower that promised to get here by Q3 2024. And since it is the third quarter, the question arises of whether or not this team can pull it off. What say you, Gower?

“Yes I know it’s Q3,” he posted on Twitter last week. “But that still gives us until the end of September until we are late. We are all working very hard on getting Brighter Shores finished.”

In the meanwhile, the Brighter Shores team teased a detective profession that’s in the works for this sandbox title. From the screenshot and UI provided, it looks as though amateur sleuths will have to use observation, deduction, and perhaps some good old-fashioned footwork to figure out who did it.
