MMO sandbox Fractured Online wants your whole guild to come give it a free trial run

Fractured Online officially launched last week with a $15 price (cut down to $12 on sale) – and while the release and patch helped restore recent reviews to “mostly positive,” the game’s Steam numbers are pretty low. We’re assuming that’s the impetus behind Dynamight Studios’ new free trial program.

“[W]e have a message for all the members of guilds and gaming communities!” the studio says. “Are you interested in playing Fractured Online, but afraid it may not be the right MMO for you? Well, you can now try it out for free for 7 days through the Trial Keys program for Guilds… so when Season 1 comes, you will be ready! (when will it come? more info to be released soon!)”

The method for acquiring these keys is a bit convoluted, and it won’t work for single players; it’s meant for groups. Players are instructed to join the game’s Discord and personally message Dynamight’s Jacopo Gallelli, who will then grant you a set of keys for your guild. Once redeemed, those keys will get players into the non-Steam version of the game for a week to test it out, after which you’ll have to pay.

The game’s latest update dropped this morning; it’s primarily a bug-fixer addressing wall-building, thievery, and tutorial quests.
