While many MMOs are taking advantage of the summer season to run beach-themed holiday events, EverQuest II is going one further — and one deeper — with its Oceansfull Festival.
The festival, which runs through August 21st, is an opportunity to run ocean-themed quests, collect flashy lures, play the clam shell game for new prizes, and conquer the Trench of Terrors dungeon. Daybreak said that this is also the final opportunity players have this summer to earn a plume in the Summer Jubilee season.
“Beware the depths of Awuidor: Trench of Terror! Thanks to the terrifying deeds of Shahmari nayads, you can find the quest to open a portal to this hellish dungeon by traveling to Nipik’s Haven in Eastern Wastes. This quest is not for the timid, but the rewards for braving it are well worth it. Are you ready to forge ahead into the deepest trenches to show your devoutness?”
