Warcraft Rumble brings a new unit and the Scholomance dungeon with this week’s Season 8 launch

Are you ready for a Scholomantic good time? Who cares if that’s not a real word? It’s the best one we can think of to describe the latest addition to Warcraft Rumble, which adds a new unit and opens the Scholomance dungeon with this week’s Season 8 release.

The Scholomance dungeon features three arenas and three bosses to fight against in the form of Jandice Barov, the master of illusions; Rattlegore, a construct of bone and metal; and Darkmaster Gandling, a mage who deals in trickery and necromancy.

As for the new unit, that comes in the form of the Dryad, a Cenarion Troop that can poison and ensnare her foes. As we reported before, this unit cannot be used in the GRID until Season 9, but she can be collected through PvP or buy purchasing; the option to get her from the guild warchest was rescinded as of last week.

Other goodies in Season 8 include a fresh schedule of events, some new emotes, and two new GRID override options. So now is the time to get all Scholomad up in this piece. That is also not a real word but you can’t stop us.
