Can you believe that it has been 15 years since Champions Online launched? We don’t blame you if it’s hard to believe, but in this case that is absolutely the truth. That means it’s time to celebrate a full 15 years of the game’s operation, and that starts with a set of concerts from Sapphire in the middle of the city along with the various criminals, ruffians, ne’er-do-wells, and blackguards throughout the city dropping new anniversary rewards. You can even get some brand-new rewards by taking out criminals, so if you like new costume pieces, you’ll be well rewarded for smacking a rapscallion or a hoodlum.
But there’s no time to think about all of that, because players will also be tasked with rescuing cats from trees (the true test of any real superhero). There’s also a new set of trivia questions to answer from Top Ten, so no matter what content you prefer, you’ll have something to do for the anniversary event in order to earn those new rewards and celebrate the past 15 years of operation. It came out in 2009! We were all so young then.
