It’s nearly election season in EVE Online, as in CCP Games is providing dates and details for the creation of the sandbox’s next Council of Sterllar Management aka the player group that provides insight and suggestions about the game’s general development.

The process begins between September 17th and October 1st, which is when applications will open for interested candidates. After that, selected candidates will be announced October 4th, the start of the campaign period, which runs until October 14th, followed by the voting period from October 17th through the 24th. There will be 10 seats available for CSM 19 and another two candidates who will be selected from the losing candidates, which CCP notes was a successful change that was first applied in the previous council’s arrangement.

Those who are hoping to be among the player representatives who try to bend CCP’s ear will want to read through the full post in order to learn specifics like candidate requirements and where to apply. For everyone else, it’s almost time to help form the council.
