Don't let it die.

The gears of war are grinding ever faster in preparation of testing a big technical and content patch for Mortal Online 2. Star Vault said that it’s scheduled this test to begin on September 25th with players welcome to come in and see the next stage for this PvP MMO.

At the top of the list of patch notes is a migration to Unreal Engine 5.4 that could pay off in “performance gains” but not necessarily any visual improvements. Then there’s a pet overhaul with a “new leveling system which allows your pet to earn a chunk of experience every time you kill something that gives you glory, so taking down higher glory foes with your pet by your side will reward you with more experience.”

The test will also cover a visual flagging system for newer players (for helping, not hurting), a dungeon crash fix, and a surprise game system that “should be a good bit of fun to engage with in town when you aren’t busy going on adventures.”
