Putting aside the valid fears of mass studio layoffs for the simulated fears the final frontier, Star Trek Online players are invited to indulge in a few Halloween activities and earn some time-limited rewards in the process. But beware! Exploring a haunted castle may be too much for the weak-hearted Captain to handle.
“No one can hear you scream in space, but in subspace, the signal reaches much further,” the team said. “A spooky event is upon us, and it features the return of the frightful Cat’s Tale TFO and two haunting patrols!”
Said rewards include an account-wide Beowulf’s Blade melee weapon, three featured TFO boxes, and 25K dilithium ore. Running in parallel with Halloween is the Gamma Recruitment event that offers faster progression, a special duty officer, and Odo’s Flaghip.
