Are you ready to take on adorable-sounding enemies known as Combots, befriend similarly adorable-sounding Unibots, and play with friends together in a colorful-looking co-op roguelite? Then you’ve got a ticket to punch as Lynked: Banner of the Spark officially begun its early access run earlier this week.
“It’s the year 30XX, and the world has been overrun by the dominating Combot forces. To fight back, players must rescue sympathetic robot allies—the Unibots—who will populate their town and help them craft special armaments to enhance their power and survivability.”
The early access version of the game will offer up four chapters’ worth of its overall story spread across 24 missions, repeatable side missions, and plenty of gear, upgrades, abilities, and town customization features. Those who play the early access RPG will also earn themselves some exclusive cosmetics, while additional cosmetic goodies will be on offer for everyone whether they play the EA version or not.
As for the full release of the game, developer FuzzyBot projects that for sometime in 2025, with a price adjustment that may come by that time. For now, buying in at this stage will set you back $25, though it’s currently offering a 10% discount until October 29th. Better yet, you can wait for our forthcoming impressions of the game; stay tuned on that front.
