Final Fantasy XI kicks off the Harvest Festival on October 25

It’s almost Halloween, and Final Fantasy XI is honor-bound to have a Halloween event since it originally launched in North America when its Halloween event was running. (Really.) The Harvest Festival is thus returning to the game once more on October 25th, bringing with it all of the Trick Staves, Pumpkin Costumes, and flying chairs you could possibly want out of the game. There might even be some trick-or-treating awaiting intrepid adventurers!

Of course, as with most of the game’s events now this is the same Halloween event the game has run for many years, so if you already have all of the holiday rewards you want you will find nothing new contained therein. But if there are still some ghoulish rewards you have yet to earn – or you just can’t wait to slap on a costume and terrorize people for a bit – you’ll have ample time to enjoy the event before it evaporates on November 8th.
