Year 6 Season 2: Shades of Red has arrived today in The Division 2, and with it comes an all-new way for seasons to play out as well as some new activities and other additions to the looter shooter.

The so-called Seasons 2.0 revamp brings a structured progression to the seasonal formula, with seven sequential missions that contain eight objectives each, all designed to guide players through season content in the early going. Additionally, season activities can be played by level one characters.

Speaking of activities, the current season adds four new types of modifiers that apply to missions, players, and enemies alike, along with new priority objective missions and weekly activities known as manhunt scouts.

The season also brings the expected new shiny items to chase, like two new exotic items, a new seasonal gear set, and new named weapons and talents. Existing items have also been balanced and loot pools have been updated for missions level 40 and up. All of the granular details are waiting in the patch notes.
