Elder Scrolls Online celebrates its eleventh birthday with the 2025 Anniversary Jubilee

Pay no attention to the 10-year graphic on the official site; Elder Scrolls Online is actually turning 11 years old this month, and it’s partying with the return of the Anniversary Jubilee, which formally kicks off today.

“Celebrate another year of adventures in Tamriel during the 2025 Anniversary Jubilee in-game event from April 3 at 10AM EDT and until April 22 at 10AM EDT,” ZeniMax Online Studios says. “Throughout the jubilee period, you can earn various bonus rewards while enjoying a passive 100% XP buff. Veteran players might recall that this buff was once obtained by eating slices of anniversary cake, and while the cake is no longer necessary to obtain the bonus XP, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t secure a slice of this sweet treat!”

Players will need to finish off the For Cake’s Sake quest, which is available from several NPCs as well as directly from the cash shop (for free). Eating your cake will award you three tickets a day, plus you can rack up gift boxes and outfit style pages from doing basic game content and dailies. And of course, you can spend your tix on the Impresario bazaar vendor, with decor, costume parts, and items from past events.

Happy birthday, ESO!
