We’re having a superhero MMO moment here, folks. Last week, Valiance Online teased something big happening, and now we know what it is: an update. Two updates, in fact.
“Two new patches rolled through!” Silverhelm Studios tweeted. “One for the physical character creator. (Please be advised, due to un-reported abuse of the creator, characters were wiped for the updated launcher)”
The patch notes focus on the character creation tweaks; specifically, it looks like animations got an update, hats and head-gear should fit better, and necks and heads should be positioned properly, plus the team worked on procedural generation on interiors and began work on RAM reduction.
Valiance Online is one of four live indie spiritual successors to City of Heroes; it is currently in development alpha for backers. In 2018 alone, it previewed maps, female toons, and costumes.
