A lot of the time, Cthulhu seems to arrive in a more sneaky and sinister manner, imposing influence slowly over the course of time and often without warning. For SMITE players, the Old One’s arrival is a bit less sneaky, as Hi-Rez Studios has confirmed the arrival of Cthulhu to the game some time in mid-June.
All we’re getting right now is confirmation of the character’s arrival as well as a trailer, but players can look forward to a lot more details during an update show on the game’s Twitch channel this coming Wednesday, May 27th, at 3:00 p.m. EDT. After that, the god’s full details will be made available on SMITE’s website. As for that trailer, we’ve got that embedded after the cut.
