Do you like free digital stuff? Do you happen to play RuneScape? Then this month has some good news for you, as the game’s weekly newsletter has announced a couple of upcoming freebie handouts.

To mark the game’s imminent launch on Steam, Jagex is marking the occasion by handing out the Steam Valve goodie bag, which promises to be stuffed with “all sorts of surprises” including a Commemorative Steam Valve to own. Players simply need to claim the handout between October 14th and November 14th, as well as be a total level of 100 or more and have completed the Burthorpe path.

The second freebie is four additional action bars for all players, whether they’re subscribers or free-to-play players, for permanent use. The release of action bars from the cash shop is part of Jagex’s re-examination of its premium offerings to ensure value is in the right place. Players will be able to get their free action bars starting on October 26th via Solomon’s General Store.

As for this week’s update, the Ninjas have struck at Clue Scrolls with new titles, new rewards, and a variety of adjustments to Clue Scroll steps among other things. Finally, the devs will be having a livestream all about the upcoming Orthean Archaeology dig site this Tuesday, October 13th.
