The well-known (and regularly repeated) Halloween event of Overwatch is back once again. It’s time for Halloween Terror 2020, bringing along the usual Junkenstein’s Revenge content, which will add two challenge missions each week for a total of six over the course of the event’s run. Expect things like faster moving and exploding Zomnics, heroes periodically being randomized, or a vengeful ghost chasing players at random.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an event in this game without a bunch of new cosmetic goodies, and this year features five new Legendary skins for Genji, Hanzo, Sigma, Winston, and D.Va. Players can also take on weekly challenges in Quick Play, Competitive Play, or the Arcade for limited-time sprays, player icons, and even more Epic skins for Sombra, Brigette, and Echo on top of usual rewards.

The launch of the event also happens to be the first year anniversary of the game on Nintendo Switch, and as a means of celebration, there will be a free trial for players between now and October 20th, with a 50% off Legendary Edition sale running until October 25th. Switch players will need to be members of Nintendo Switch Online and have a Nintendo account to play the game, however.

Halloween Terror is on now and runs until Tuesday, November 3rd. There’s an event landing page with information on weekly challenges and challenge missions, and we’ve also got a gallery of pretty images and a video after the cut.
