[…] Pearl Abyss also announced its plans to support the next-generation consoles (Xbox Series X/S and PS5) for Black Desert. Black Desert’s renowned 4K graphics, advanced combat, and various other content will be available with fast loading times and at up to 120 FPS. Current Adventurers will be able to play Black Desert Console on next-generation devices with characters from their existing account without any additional charge. Cross-play will also be supported for the next-generation consoles, allowing Adventurers to play games on one server regardless of platform.”
The official website includes a huge list of retailers in Europe and Oceania, though North Americans in particular are restricted to Amazon. Most recently, the console version of the game launched the Guardian class and succession content for multiple existing classes.
