The state of Phantasy Star Online 2 is very different now from when it launched in North America last year, because you can now launch it through pretty much any digital storefront you want. This is especially true as of today, as the title has launched on the Epic Games Store today for players to download and install freely. Now you can install the game from everywhere! Just all PSO2, all the time.
Of course, if you’re already playing the game, you may be less inclined to care all that much about the title being available on a new storefront. But there’s more to concern yourselves with than just that, as today also sees an update with a new limited-time quest pitting players in groups of 12 against enemies in three separate areas. There’s also a new summoner pet variant and new items available in stores, so even if you’re already playing the game, today has some new content for you to explore.
