Black Desert kicks off Black Friday events and allows for easier new player gear upgrades

Cool story, guy!

It’s just about time for Thanksgiving, and that means that everyone should fall into a frenzied rush of consumerism the next day for Black Friday. Since Black Desert isn’t hosting an event for the former, you can bet that the game is all geared up for the latter with sales discounts up to 90%. Of course, there are other events running in the game at the same time, such as the Twinkling Desert Stars event and the Sunday Stakeout at Garmoth’s Nest, but those events can’t involve you buying things. At least, not directly.

Lest you think that this is just about buying stuff, though, the latest patch is also making it easy for new players to upgrade Naru gear obtained by a seasonal character to Tuvala gear, allowing your character to quickly hop on through to a new tier of power if you’re a newer player. There are also balance fixes and other improvements to be had, so check out the full set of patch notes ahead of the holiday.
