Wayfinder releases Q1 2024 roadmap and jobs board update for dailies and weeklies

We noted yesterday that a roadmap for Airship Syndicate’s Wayfinder was imminent, and now it’s here, covering everything players can expect from the Q1 rollout. The studio says it is “on track to deliver” a pile of new content over the next couple of months, including the job board (dailies and weeklies), armory ranks (weapon progression), the archetype system (passives and customization), mythic hunts, the new open-world Frostmarch zone, mounts, and Grendel and his reward tower. Six-person raids are currently set for early Q2.

Notably, today’s patch includes the aforementioned job board for testing (it’s all testing; the game is still in beta). Players will have to complete the Bad Omens main quest and then the No Better Friend quest to unlock jobs, which are dispensed from the boards in Skylight and Deepwood Holt.

“The goal of the Job Board Preview is to provide players with another source of XP for the player’s Wayfinder and Weapon, as well as their Reward Tower. It’s also a place where you can get some memory fragments, gloomstone shards, dyes, cosmetics, and more! […] As we have previously mentioned, this was the most efficient and direct path towards earning Reward Tower keys, and as such, we have also adjusted Reward Tower XP rates down slightly and will be monitoring them in the short and long term.”
