It’s another vehicle-filled update for War Thunder. The Alpha Strike patch has introduced dozens of new vehicles for land, sea, and air, headlined by the new European Alpha jet that gives the content update its name.
The Alpha jet is a two-seat attack and training aircraft that can hit intense speeds and lays down precise strikes with computer-assisted unguided missiles and bombs. This new aircraft is available in Germany and France trees, while other highlighted vehicles include the Chinese ZBD-04A infantry vehicle, the USA’s “Frankenstein” M60 120S tank, the American F-20A Tigershark fighter jet, and the Japanese Mutsu battleship.
While vehicle additions are the name of the patch’s game, there are other features for players to look forward to as well, such as a new North Holland map for ground forces to play on, a new Golan Heights mission for realistic air battles mode, a new fire control system for naval battles, a new sensor view mode when watching replays, and several fixes and updates. It’s all outlined in the latest changelog.
