If achievement hunting is your jam in MMORPGs and you’re an Elder Scrolls Online fan, you’re going to get a lot more out of Gold Road than just a new batch of local cheevos. ZeniMax Online Studios explained today that it’s also rolling out a game-wide meta achievement truly worthy of bragging.
“As part of our ongoing 10-Year Anniversary Celebration, we are adding an all-new Achievement that celebrates and showcases the game’s ever-growing world, titled Adventurer Across a Decade,” the team says. “This new Achievement arrives with the launch of the Gold Road Chapter and Update 42 in June, and it touches on practically every zone and main story quest in the game.”
“Touches on” is a euphemism here for actually finishing the main story in 19 zones, plus the core Molag Bal storyline, and snagging the Hero of the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact cheevos. Yes, it’s all retroactive, and it comes with a new skin too.
In other Elder Scrolls Online news, ZeniMax did release the soundtrack for last year’s expanshachapter, Necrom, over the weekend; it’s available only on Apple, Spotify, and Amazon at the moment.
