With Throne & Liberty getting some important dates revealed during Summer Game Fest – namely, its open beta running between July 18th and 23rd – Amazon Games is keen to start fanning the flames of excitement with several preview posts.

The first preview grants interested gamers a general overview of T&L, which confirms a free-to-play release that has a described focus on guild combat, promises the potential to “engage in thrilling battles against dozens to thousands of other players and fantastic creatures in group battles and massive castle sieges,” and talks up the MMO’s dual-weapon loadout and ability to change into various travel forms.

The second post talks about some of the PvE and PvP content available, starting off with the guild vs. guild castle siege that pits players against one another to either take or defend Stoneguard Castle. There are also quick rundowns of some of T&L’s dungeons like the instanced dungeons within the Dimensional Circle, the open world dungeons that can see teams facing both powerful monsters and other players, and raids for guilds to take on.

Of course, before any of that happens, players will want to create their character, which is the focus of the third post. This post highlights not only the customization of avatars but the assortment of weapon sets players will get to use as well as the aforementioned travel forms and other transformations that let players become powerful stone golems or legendary guardians.

Each post came with some video footage attached, which you can watch below. Also make sure to check out Andrew’s earlier hands-on preview if you haven’t already.
