With a few big things coming in the near future for Lord of the Rings Online, the question is when players might expect to see them. In last Friday’s devstream, SSG said that it’s targeting July 31st for the release of Update 41 with its PvP improvements, Birding Hobby, co-op crafting event, and Lore-master rework.

This date is tentative, however, as the studio isn’t 100% certain that it’ll make this date. What might be a little less certain is the release of the two new legendary servers, Angmar (NA) and Mordor (EU), which may go live with Update 41 or may be held back a week or two.

In other LOTRO and DDO news, Standing Stone Games Executive Producer Rob Ciccolini is taking part in a Daybreak Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 26th. The panel is called “Revolutionizing Legends: The Evolution of Iconic Online Games.”
