Elder Scrolls Online is getting a jump on the fall season with a new event that’s heading our way next week. The Fallen Leaves of West Weald arrives on Thursday, September 26th, but unlike most events on the calendar, this one is only available for players who have purchased this past summer’s Gold Road chapter.
“During the event, you can seek out lost relics of the ancient Ayleid empire, learn about the history surrounding Cyrodiil’s ancient rulers, and unlock collectible rewards for all Gold Road Chapter owners,” said ZeniMax.
Basically, everyone in the community contributes to a pooled goal by doing the same quest every day. Once the progress meter reaches 33%, all expansion owners will get a Vineyard Voriplasm pet. Then there’s a Luminescing Varla Stone memento for 66%, followed by the big 100% prize: a Russet Brekka mount, Tree-Sap Legion arms pack, and a nesting rewards box. If you buy the expansion by October 8th, you’ll qualify for any of these unlocked rewards.
Additionally, if the community tops out at 100%, then a subsequent mini-event period with a buff to XP, gold, and harvesting mats will extend for nine days after October 8th.
