Tomorrow is a big shiny broadcast date for fans of World of Warcraft in specific and the Warcraft franchise in general as Blizzard readies for its Warcraft Direct broadcast, and with leaks and initial blurbs seeping out of the woodwork, now seems to be a good time to gather up what will and what may potentially be shown off for the event.

First, we’ll get to the things that are officially announced: The YouTube broadcast page’s blurb has been updated with confirmation that the whole affair will run for 45 minutes and is promising “exciting new updates to Warcraft III Reforged and more,” details on future updates to WoW Classic and Retail along with “a special announcement at the end,” and future content plans for both Hearthstone and Warcraft Rumble.

As for the leaks, there have already been sightings of a 2.0 update for Warcraft III Reforged and a remaster of Warcraft II, but YouTuber Bellular has also pointed out in a recent video a test build for something called Dark Realm, which could be a new gameplay mode akin to Plunderstorm. He also presumes the broadcast will offer a release date for patch 11.0.7 and an initial reveal of patch 11.1.

Ahead of all of this, Blizzard is continuing to hype up WoW’s 20 years and the overall presentation with a retrospective video look at 20 years’ worth of adventure. Just in case anyone needed a cinematic reminder of prior events.
