Would it even be Christmas if the community management team of War Thunder didn’t have to clean up another classified document leak from its official forums because someone was using it to argue in favor of a digital jet’s balance?
Here we go again: The argument sprang up around the recently added Eurofighter Typhoon, specifically the scanning capabilities of the active service jet’s CAPTOR radar system, which ultimately resulted in one member of the gaming community posting classified documents related to the jet’s radar in order to win the forum fight. Gaijin Entertainment once again scrubbed its forums, suspended the offending user, and warned its community once again to stop the behavior:
“I will take this opportunity to again remind everyone here, please do not, under any circumstances, try to post, share any sources unless you are 100% certain they are legally declassified and publicly safe for use. We will never handle or use them, and all it does is actively harm any possible future changes being possible by trying to use them. Do not do it. No good will ever come from it for you or the vehicle you are trying to post for.”
As readers can see in the list below, this is one of a long list of times that players of the military vehicle battler have leaked military documents in a public space, and while this one counts among those that at least aren’t beneficial to hostile nations, it’s still another forehead slap-inducing moment for this game’s now infamously blabber mouthed community.
