Next month will be upon us like a big wet bundle of snow before we know it, which means that fans of the early access sandbox MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will soon be able to enjoy the sound of stomping hooves, neighing, and very possibly loud horse farts. That’s because the December major update will introduce mounts and taming systems to the game. Though ideally it will do so without the horse farts.
The latest dev blog from Visionary Realms provides what it calls a glimpse of the update, which is a perfect word to describe the preview, as it basically says that horses will be a thing and that tamable wild horses will be scattered around the game world, each with different qualities and rarities. A more cohesive explanation post is promised next week.
The rest of the post otherwise repeats the promises made by Pantheon’s recently hired project manager including “major gameplay changes” for adventuring and gathering and another assurance that a development roadmap for the early part of next year is on the way. Until then, prepare for honse.
