Valiance Online is packing up and prepping for a move… to Steam.
The City of Heroes-inspired indie superhero MMORPG was Greenlit on the platform back in January of last year following a canceled Kickstarter in 2014, during which it appeared to raise only a fifth of its proposed funding, but development has continued. Pre-alpha for the game began this past February, but it appears alpha is now on the way:
We are getting ready to release the alpha patch and move to Steam. There will be a week (or more) of downtime in the next few weeks to prep.

Silverhelm Studios has told players to keep an eye out for a more detailed blog post on the set-up and planned downtime.
