After being placed on hold for further review, the submission process for EVE Online alliance logos is back open and ready for player input. CCP said that player-submitted content is “the best course of action” for giving alliances a unique look, but the studio did say that it will modify the logos slightly so that both CCP and the creator will retain ownership of their respective graphics.

“Upon accepting logos, the original design that is sent to CCP will be altered slightly and watermarked to create a derivative work that will be used to represent the alliance in the EVE universe,” the team posted.
