SMITE has officially launched on the Xbox One

Hi-Rez has officially launched SMITE on the Xbox One. The firm says via press release that its mythology MOBA is in fact the first MOBA on Microsoft’s current-gen console, and that it “amassed over one million unique players” during its Xbox One beta test.

If you were one of those testers, you’ll be happy to know that all of your purchases and progress will carry over past launch. SMITE will host its first major Xbox One tourney at the Major League Gaming World Finals beginning October 16th in New Orleans.

Hi-Rez plans monthly god releases, updates to SMITE’s gameplay and content, and UI patches to include multi-language support, spectator support, “and much more.”
